There is something kind of calming about staying in a yurt. They’ve been in existence since nomadic tribes of Central Asia carried them as they traveled in the 13th century. Perhaps the original mobile home.
One of most notable aspects of a yurt is that it is round. They offer a warm and inviting atmosphere, not to mention a unique camping experience. The high, peaked roof offers a feeling of space while the 24 foot diameter interior is roomy and pleasant.
Our yurt is popular as a middle ground between camping in a tent and camping in a cabin.
Kids love it!
It sleeps six to eight people with a full size bed and four bunks. You’ll be warm in the shoulder season and cool in the summer because it is equipped with heater and ceiling fan.
Our yurt is located near the bathhouse and comes with its own porta-potty on the site. You won’t miss star gazing because the yurt has a moon roof. You can drift off to sleep as you study the stars directly overhead, from your bed. How cool is that?
We supply the fridge and microwave and you bring linens, food and tableware. We only have one yurt and it is in high demand so reserve early. It’s an experience you’ll remember and the kids will have a ball.
You can visit our reservations page to book your next stay in the yurt. We look forward to seeing you.
