We have three Adirondack Shelters that provide protection from the elements to our tent campers. They are a three sided lean-to frequently seen in the Adirondack Mountains and on the Appalachian Trail. They were originally created to provide shelter to hunters and fishermen in the mountains.
The Adirondack Shelters are something of a mini cabin that is open on one side. Our Adirondacks allow you to sleep in the great outdoors while having a solid floor underneath you and a roof over your head. They also provide coverage for your gear during the day or you can move your picnic table inside. Just several of many benefits to this type of camping option.
They each have their own picnic table and fire ring. Their close to the bathhouse and offer electric and water on the sites. They are reasonably priced and can greatly improve your camping experience if you happen to be camping on a rainy night.
There is something rustic and adventurous about sleeping in an Adirondack Shelter. And at the same time it is comfortable and protective. The windbreak alone can be a big advantage on a cool night.
We’d love for you to stay in one and let us know how you liked it. Be sure to check the rates page and make a reservation as soon as you can. We look forward to meeting you.
