You never really know what you’re going to need until you need it but there are a few things RVers can carry, just in case.
You might like to carry a weather radio along with you as you travel. It can be disorienting to find yourself in a new area when bad weather hits. A weather radio will help you to either avoid a bad weather situation or to deal with one when you are in it.
Write down the types of engine belts your rig requires and bring some of them along with you. If you’re not someone who can change these belts yourself, it can still help to have them with you in the event you are stranded and someone offers to help.
A second sewer hose is always a good idea. The sewer hose on your rig gets a lot of use and it will wear out at some point. You’ll be glad you have a backup when that happens or will be able to replace it before a failure takes place.
These are a couple of things to consider carrying with you as you travel. We hope your camping adventures bring you safe travels. We’d love to have you stay with us, give us a call to make a reservation.
