We are located in Madison, Maine just on the northern outskirts of Skowhegan on US Rt. 201. The area has much to offer for every type of outdoor enthusiast.

Coburn Park – This landscaped park on the Kennebec River has a pond with a fountain and a gazebo which hosts a variety of bands each Sunday in July and August.

Lake Wesserunsett – a public boat launch located in East Madison. Great for boating, canoeing, kayaking and fishing.

Lakewood Golf Course – an 18 hole, par 72 course.

Lakewood Theater – one of the oldest and most famous summer theaters. They offer shows from May through September.

North Star Orchards – a local family farm with 35 acres of apple trees.

Skowhegan Riverwalk and Philbrick Trail Loop – An easy 0.5 mile walk along the Kennebec River. Has 5 exercise stations along the route with a bike trail parallel to the walking trail.

Skowhegan State Fair – the oldest consecutively running agricultural fair.

Strand Cinema – Restored historic building with 3 theaters, showing first-run movies and has a lobby & concessions.

Skowhegan Drive-In – Fridays & Saturdays showing two movies and has a snack bar.

Cayford Orchards – a local family farm, raising fresh seasonal fruit. They are also available at the Skowhegan Farmers Market.

Lake George Regional Park ($) – Offers hiking and walking trails, swimming at a sandy. beach, fishing and boating.

Crab Apple Whitewater – located in the West Forks, a family owned and operated whitewater rafting company.

Hollywood Casino – Blackjack, Roulette, Craps, Poker & Slot Machines.

Moxie Falls – One of Maine’s highest waterfalls with a walk of just under a mile.

Sugarloaf – Golfing, hiking, moose view tours, concerts, skiing, snow tubing, snowboarding and more.

Moosehead Lake – located in Greenville, it’s the largest lake in Maine. Great for boating, swimming, fishing and hiking Mt. Kineo.

Acadia National Park ($) – Features Cadillac Mountain, Sand Beach, Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse, Thunder Hole and Schoodic Peninsula to name a few.
